Wendy qualified as an Enrolled Dental Hygienist in 1979 from Guys School of Dental Hygiene. She worked full-time in various dental practices since 1979 and has been with Park Road Dental Centre for the last 10 years.
She enjoys being able to impart knowledge to people and seeing them take responsibility for themselves afterwards. Over the years she has done quite a lot of health education and at one time gave advice on dental hygiene to employees of Marks & Spencer. She also worked with children, motivating them to maintain good diet and teeth. Wendy believes that in the last few years the role and profile of hygienists has increased, with more people expecting more from dental care.
In her free time, she goes to the gym and swims. |
