Joanne qualified in 1976 at Guy’s as a Dental Therapist, later going on a course at Guy’s Hospital to become a dental therapist.
After qualifying as a therapist, she moved to Kent before moving to Wimbledon for 3-4 years to work at a school clinic. She then studied to become a hygienist. She has been at Park Road Dental Centre since 1987, although she left the practice for a short while to join her husband in the Middle East.
Joanne cites her patients are the main reason she enjoys her job. She likes helping her patients to achieve good oral hygiene, and getting to know new people. In her free time, Joanne enjoys music, yoga and cooking. |
