Firas has wide interest in and a very strong commitment to restorative dentistry. This includes root canal treatments, cosmetic dentistry and implants. He has authored numerous articles in international professional journals and has given presentations both nationally and internationally on a variety of dental topics.
Firas gained his DDS degree in 1992 and his Master in Conservative Dentistry (MSc) from the prestigious UCL Eastman Dental Institute in 1997. In addition he is Licentiate in Dental Surgery from the Royal College of Surgeons of England and a Member of the Faculty of Dental Surgery of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. He is recognised by the General Dental Council in the UK as a Specialist in Prosthodontics.
Before joining Park Road Dental Centre, Firas held multiple hospital appointments in Oral Surgery and Restorative Dentistry at Eastman Dental Hospital, The Royal London Hospital and Dundee Dental Hospital. He is a former member of the teaching staff at Guy’s, Kings and St Thomas’ Dental Institute.
Today, apart from working in private practice, Firas is Associate Specialist in Restorative Dentistry at the Royal London Hospital.
Firas is a member of the British Society of Restorative Dentistry (BSRD), British Endodontic Society (BES), British Dental Association (BDA), Eastman Dental Academy. He is registered with the American Academy of Implant Dentistry. |
