Pia graduated from Dental School in Malmo, Sweden in 1981. Apart from a short break to look after her daughters, she has not stopped working since. For 9 years she and her husband lived in Lapland, the arctic outback of Sweden but the desire for warmer weather made them move back to the west coast of Sweden. There, Pia developed her interest in the psychological aspects of dental treatment.
To Pia, the best thing about dentistry is meeting and interacting with patients. In 1997, she undertook postgraduate studies at Gothenburg Dental School to be able to treat patients with dental phobia.
Today she feels extremely happy and privileged in her profession, being able to help and work together with patients. She believes that Park Road Dental Centre offers her the clinical freedom to do the very best for her patients. |
