Dr Ralph Baylis

All our dentists adhere to the rules governing the profession under strict guidance from the General Dental Council (GDC) "Standards for Dental Professionals".
Ralph qualified in 1990 from University College in London, before gaining a Masters Degree in Periodontology at Guy's Hospital Dental School in 1997. After studying for his Masters he worked part-time for over 2 years as a research associate at Guy's Hospital, helping to investigate the relationship between periodontal disease and pregnancy.
After starting his practicing career in Chessington, Surrey in 1991, Ralph joined Park Road Dental Centre as an associate in 1995, becoming a partner in 2000.
Ralph is interested in doing only the very best he can for the practice and his patients. This means "getting things right", and continuously moving forward, utilising new technologies and skills. He has a particular interest in the treatment of severe gum disease, working with the hygienists to achieve successful results.
He is an active member of the British Dental Association, having been a committee member of his local section for several years. He is also a member of the British Society of Periodontology.
Married with 3 children, Ralph enjoys hill walking, cycling and swimming.
